Late But Great

I'm late posting this week, but as far as I can remember the Maui Pink Cap swimmers had a great Sunday ocean swim. Conditions were great and we ended up playing longer than usual.

33 Days

Only 33 days until my 30 years on Maui are over. 

So, I'm continuing to savor walks through the neighborhood and evening sunsets.

 

Four Eagle Rays

Four friendly eagle rays kept me company this morning.

And this flounder was absolutely fearless.

 

Happy Birthday Pedro

Maui's Pink Cap swimmers joined together this morning to celebrate Pedro's birthday (during Hurricane Linda). What fun!

Two Visits

We had another perfect morning for a Maui Pink Cap ocean swim. 

A spotted eagle ray even sought us out twice for some entertainment.

Sandy Shores

My Saturday morning walks often involve emptying lots of sand from my shoes. 

 

Happy Birthday Anne

Lots of Maui's Pink Cap swimmers gathered to celebrate Anne's birthday with, guess what, an ocean swim.

We saw turtles, eagle rays, eels, cowries, and lots and lots of fishies.

Brief Break from Work

I took a brief break from work this morning for a fun adventure swim with some of my neighbors.

I love any opportunity to get out into the ocean.

 

The Few

Turnout for the usual Sunday swim was teeny-tiny once again, even though the water was clear, calm and flat. A fun time was had by all.
