Turtle Research

NOAA with help from several local volunteers (me included) captured, measured and tagged several turtles today, including one of the critically endangered Hawksbill turtles. Actually, we tagged the Hawksbill last year, so it did not have to endure that indignity again. The good news is that she (probably female - it was too young to be certain) has gained weight and grown since last year. Hooray! The bad news is that I too have gained weight since last year. Boo!
