Can't Be Too Careful

My forays out into deep water on my teeny tiny little kayak are certainly well equipped. I carry a marine radio in case I need to call the Coast Guard to come rescue me, a GPS unit to let the Coast Guard know where to find me so they can rescue me, a waterproof camera and a cell phone to call 911 in case the Coast Guard is busy. Of course, I also carry rope so the Coast Guard can tow me back in, and a water bottle as a message carrier of last resort. Maybe I should buy some emergency flares as well...
